Caroline Richardson Mahaffey

Caroline Richardson Mahaffey is the third generation family member to serve as Broker for the Jeff Richardson Company.   She developed an interest in the family business as a small child, driving out with her father to put signs on property, and going in to the office with him on Saturday mornings. 

A divorced mother of seven adult children and the grandmother to four granddaughters and three grandsons, Caroline has always considered real estate the ideal profession for being able to stay actively involved in the needs of her community and to be there for her family. 

Caroline currently serves on the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Committee, as well as GGAR RPAC, and as Chair of Simpsonville 2020.  As a past state president of GFWC-SC, she serves on the Board of Directors of GFWC-SC, and is a member of two local GFWC Clubs – GFWC Golden Strip and GFWC Upstate Woman’s Club. 

She attended Furman University and graduated from the University of South Carolina.  Caroline is a member of the Realtor’s Land Institute and is a Certified Negotiation Expert.  She is a recipient of the Charlotte Emerson Brown Excellence in Leadership Award.
